PM Modi releases pics of India Pavilion inaugurated at Dubai Expo


New Delhi: At the inauguration of India's building at Dubai Expo 2020, PM Narendra Modi on Friday announced that the Expo will go a great way in more building India's "deep and historical connection" with UAE and Dubai.

Terming Expo 2020 Dubai is a memorable event, PM Narendra Modi stated that India is engaging in this expo with 1 of the largest arcades. "India is a land of possibilities. Come to India and examine these opportunities," he said.

Lecturing the event by video conferencing, PM Narendra Modi announced that the theme of India's pavilion is 'Openness, Opportunity, and Growth'.

"Today's India is 1 of the common open nations in the world. Exposed to learning, exposed to perspectives, open to innovation, open to investment. That is why I welcome you to come and invest in our nation. Now, India is a land of possibilities. Be it in the area of arts or commerce, industry or academia. There is the possibility to discover, an opportunity to partner, a chance to progress," he said.

"Come to India and examine these possibilities. India also allows you the greatest growth. Growth in scale, growth in spirit, growth in results. Come to India and be a member of our growth story," he added. The PM said that the main idea of Expo 2020 is 'Connecting Minds, Creating the Future.'

"The quality of this issue is also seen in India's efforts as we move forward to create a New India. I would also like to compliment the Government of UAE for making Expo 2020 in a splendid way. This Expo is also proof of the resilience of mankind upon the once-in-a-century pandemic," he said.

Agreeing with India's recognition of Amrit Mahotsav, 75 years of Independence, Dubai Expo 2020 is a vital platform for India to showcase its energetic culture and enormous growth possibilities for the next six months.

Among the 192 participating nations, India has the largest pavilion in the expo. Fifteen states and nine central ministries of India are engaging in this six-month-long expo, which will end on March 31, 2022.

It describes the theme of 'India on the move' and is a unique amalgam of the rich culture and technological progress of the nation.
