Two people in the UK have continued found to be contaminated with the new COVID-19 variant, named Omicron, UK Health Secretary Sajid Javid stated on Saturday. The UK Health Security Agency detected cases in Chelmsford and in Nottingham, Javid added. The variant, first detected in South Africa, is determined to have a high number of mutations.
