On Saturday, ahead of the festival Durga Puja, Mithun Chakraborty lived in the city to have a meeting with the BJP leaders. During an exchange with media persons, he was questioned if the numeral of willing TMC MLAs has grown.
Chakraborty stated, “I won’t tell you the identical number, but can tell the numeral is no less than 21”.
Mithun Chakraborty also remarked on the recent announcement of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on "abuse" of CBI and ED. Mamata Banerjee had stated that she doesn't believe that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is behind the "abuse" of central agents.
