According to Delhi Police, the man who urinated on the woman on Air India Flight

"The accused is a Mumbai resident, but the police squad has already traveled to the accused's potential location, which is in another state. The culprit would be detained as soon as possible, according to Delhi Police. The Delhi Police announced on Wednesday that teams have been put together to find the person who is suspected of peeing on an elderly fellow passenger on an Air India aircraft from New York to Delhi in November of last year.

Based on a complaint from Air India, the Police on Wednesday filed an FIR on the terrible incident.

In accordance with Sections 23 of the Indian Aircraft Act and Sections 354, 509, and 510 of the Indian Penal Code, the police have filed an FIR in this case. The victim and the accused are both from locations other than Delhi.

On November 26, the airplane was traveling from New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport to Delhi when the tragic tragedy took place.

"We've assembled a team to find the suspect passenger. He will be detained soon, according to a police officer, who said the inquiry is ongoing.

The first step, according to Air India, was to unilaterally prohibit the traveler for a maximum of 30 days.

"Air India has taken a very serious note of the event where a passenger on the New York-Delhi aircraft acted in an unbecoming and undignified manner that caused a fellow passenger significant grief. In this situation, a police complaint has already been made, and according to an Air India spokeswoman, the airline is dedicated to working with regulatory bodies and law enforcement to help the victimized customer receive justice.

Air India has established an internal panel to investigate if crew members made mistakes in handling the circumstance that upset the woman, while the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has also opened an investigation.

The incident on the Air India flight, in which the drunken male passenger also displayed his private parts at an elderly woman, has been reported to the National Commission for Women.

The Delhi Police Commissioner has been asked to provide the Commission with a thorough report on the actions taken in this case within seven days.

The woman passenger, who is in her sixties, wrote a letter to N Chandrasekaran, chairman of the board of Tata Sons, describing the flight experience as extremely traumatic and expressing her severe regret over the events in the business class part of the trip.

The woman said in her letter that the "appalling occurrence" happened as she was getting ready for bed, shortly after lunch was served and the lights were turned out. John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York served as the departure point for the aircraft.

She claimed that a drunken man soon approached her seat, unbuttoned his pants, relieved himself, and then continued to show his privates until another passenger motioned for him to go back to his seat.

"I am writing to express my profound disappointment at the horrific occurrence that took place during my business class travel on airline AI102 (commencing in NY, JFK yesterday 26th November at 12.30 pm, and arriving this afternoon in New Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport at approximately 1.30 pm). This flight has been the most frightening I've ever been on.

"During the flight, just as I was about to drift off to sleep, a completely inebriated passenger walked up to my seat shortly after lunch was served and the lights were turned down. He removed his pants, went to the bathroom, and then kept showing me his intimate areas.

He was requested to go back to his seat by the passenger next to me. The letter stated that he was not immediately responsive but eventually left the area.

The letter from the woman passenger, who is in her seventies, also made note of how "the airline denied and claimed her there were no seats available" when she requested a different seat. One of the senior stewardesses gave her a small seat that was used by the airline workers, which she also objected to.
