Attacked in Australia by pro-Khalistan forces were Indians holding the tricolour

BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa posted a video showing pro-Khalistan forces hitting Indians in Australia who was carrying the flag.

Five Indians carrying the Tricolor are hurt in the incident, which is captured on video and involves a group of men waving the Khalistani flag. Also seen hitting the individuals holding the Indian flag are pro-Khalistani soldiers brandishing rods.

BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa noted the occurrence and stated that serious action needs to be taken against the anti-social elements' actions.

"I vehemently condemn pro-Khalistani efforts against India in Australia. Manjinder Singh Sirsa tweeted, "Anti-social elements that are attempting to disturb the peace and harmony of the country with these actions must be dealt with sternly and offenders must be brought to justice.

The Victoria Police condemned the incident and reported that two people have already been taken into custody as a result of the aggressive assault. A penalty notice for "riotous behavior" has been issued to the two guys who were arrested; they are both in their 30s. The five injured victims, according to them, have been taken to the hospital.

This happened only a few weeks after vandals attacked Hindu temples in Australia. In Melbourne, three temples have recently been vandalized with pro-Khalistan and anti-India graffiti.

These attacks were seen as blatant attempts to sow division and hostility within the Indian community by the Indian High Commission in Canberra.

The Indian Mission had additionally noted that such incidents indicate that pro-Khalistan elements are stepping up their activities in Australia, actively helped and "abetted by members of proscribed terrorist organizations" like the Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) and other "inimical agencies" from outside Australia.
