As part of a specialized operation to apprehend criminals, the Rajasthan Police detained 2,518 offenders on Monday in the Bharatpur range, including 228 history sheeters and 15 hard-core criminals.
In the course of the campaign on Sunday, the police detained 2,051 criminals in the Kota, Jaipur ranges, and Churu districts.
DGP Umesh Mishra stated that Additional Director General (ADG-Crime) Dinesh M N is in charge of overseeing the special operation.
The action was carried out on Monday in the Bharatpur range's four districts of Bharatpur, Dhaulpur, Karauli, and Sawai Madhopur.
Mishra reported that 3,750 police officers in 500 squads participated in the campaign on Monday.

During the raids, authorities also seized a gun, 23 locally-made revolvers, a handgun, 25 live bullets, and five sharp-edged weapons. In addition to these, illegal alcohol and drugs were also found.
According to him, there have been five incidences of illegal mining reported, four persons have been detained, and five tractor-trolleys containing 21.5 tonnes of sand have been seized.
