On Thursday, Virat Kohli posted a picture of his grade report card from class 10. During the next Indian Premier League season, Kohli, who just snapped his Test century drought in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, is preparing. The 34-year-old joined Royal Challengers Bangalore as a 19-year-old in 2008 and will play for them for the 16th consecutive season. Kohli posted a picture of his Class 10 grade report card on Instagram with an amusing caption.
In a post, Kohli observed that "it's funny how the things that add the least to your mark sheet, add the most to your character."
Students in West Bengal taking the Class X English state board exam in 2018 received a welcome surprise when they discovered an essay question about Kohli. When asked about the cricketer who has become a "national icon," the pupils were ecstatic to respond.
On April 2, Kohli, who has been in excellent form since ending his century drought across all three forms, will play for the Royal Challengers Bangalore team against the Mumbai Indians.
One of the franchise's pillars has been Kohli. He has frequently hit game-winning hits for them. His performance, however, declined last season, and he was only able to score 341 runs with a strike rate of 115.99. Yet prior to this IPL, the hitter had played well in international cricket. It will be fantastic if I can perform at the level I want to and help the squad, he recently said.
