After a lady went to her boyfriend's workplace and forcibly grabbed him by the collar and led him to a temple for marriage, a high-stakes scenario broke out in Bihar's Bhagalpur.
The girl, Karishma, is from the Madhusudanpur police station neighborhood of Bhagalpur and comes from the village of Bhathodiya. Rohit Kumar, a native of the same hamlet, was recognized as the man.
According to rumors, the two had been dating for the previous two years. Rohit painted the girl's forehead with sindoor (vermillion) when she persisted in being married. Karishma was ejected from the family home because they would not accept her.
Rohit was subsequently imprisoned as a result of Karishma accusing him of rape. After he was granted bail, Karishma persisted in pressuring him into getting married. He was dragged to the Buddha Nath Temple by her when she went to his office.
If Rohit didn't agree to marry her, she even threatened to eat poison.
The pair were detained by the authorities for questioning in the interim. In order to do more research, the relatives of both people were also contacted.
