Raj Thackeray cuts an Aurangazeb-themed cake to celebrate his 55th birthday

Raj Thackeray, the leader of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), turned 55 on Wednesday. The leader also cut a cake that his followers had provided that had images of Aurangzeb, the Mughal emperor, and a megaphone on it.

MNS activists from Raigad arrived in Mumbai with a loudspeaker and a cake bearing the image of Aurangzeb, the Mughal emperor.

As the crowd applauded and applauded Raj Thackeray, who was known for his fiery language, chopped Aurangzeb's throat figuratively (according to the depiction on the cake). The MNS chief also cut a piece of cake that was decorated with a cross-shaped loudspeaker.

In Maharashtra, the use of loudspeakers during religious activities, especially the azan, the Muslim call to prayer, has been a difficult topic that has in the past caused conflicts and instability in a number of different regions of the state.

Due to the Aurangzeb controversy, Maharashtra recently saw riot-like conditions in a number of districts. Following a request for a shutdown in opposition to the social media posts of the Mysore King Tipu Sultan and the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb, a sizable crowd of individuals affiliated with various Hindutva organizations assembled at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Chowk in Kolhapur on June 7.

In Kolhapur, prohibition orders have been issued till June 19 banning gatherings of five or more people.

Similar intercommunal conflicts over social media posts on Muslim tyrants like Aurangzeb and Tipu Sultan were recorded in May in Sangamner, Akola, and Shevgaon (Ahmednagar).

Right-wing organizations have voiced their opposition to the supposed jobs, saying they were created to elevate the two rulers.

Eknath Shinde, the chief minister, and Devendra Fadnavis, his deputy, have urged people to remain calm.

"We will track down those who are responsible for tarnishing Maharashtra's reputation and disrupting law and order. The situation is in good hands. Regarding the riots in Kolhapur, Fadnavis had said, "I encourage people not to take the law into their own hands.

In order to prevent any unfortunate incidents, security has been stepped up in a number of districts.
