The Madhya Pradesh government has taken action against the accused after a viral video showing a man in Bhopal being forced to behave like a dog and tethered to a leash caused outrage.

Six people have been detained by the Bhopal Police in connection with the event, and the National Security Act has been used against three of them who have prior criminal histories.

Narottam Mishra, the home minister for Madhya Pradesh, informed ANI that "the National Security Act 1980 has also been invoked against the accused in this case."

The home of a man named Sameer Khan, who is accused of harassing and beating the youth, was destroyed by the local government in the presence of the police. According to Live Hindustan, a sister site of Hindustan Times, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan ordered the Bhopal police commissioner to take harsh action against the three accused names Sameer, Faizan, and Sajid.

According to reports, the area outside Tila Jamalpura police station is where the viral video was allegedly shot. In the video, a man by the name of Vijay Ramchandani was seen apologizing to the six men who were seated before him while wearing a leash around his neck. The victim said that the six men tried to convert him against his will.

"Bulldozer action will be employed when the accused were taken into custody within 4-5 hours. The MP home minister said to PTI, "We will respond in Bhopal in a way that sends a message throughout the state.
