The husband of a Patna-based BJP councilor was fired at by four armed men on Monday, according to the police.
Suchita Singh's spouse, Nilesh Yadav, also known as Nilesh Mukhia, 40, was taken to a hospital where he is receiving medical attention.
The event happened on Monday morning at 11 a.m. in the Digha area when Mukhia was driving to his office in Kurzi. At the time of the occurrence, there were three individuals in the car. "Four armed bandits riding two motorcycles opened fire on Mukhia just as he was ready to exit his automobile. He collapsed on the floor. The thugs sped off in the direction of P & M Mall, according to the police.
The police arrived at the scene as soon as they were informed of the event and found five gunshots there.
