Launch of Delhi University's highest enrollment schools and courses for 2023-2024  


The academic year 2023-2024 has started at the University of Delhi (DU), with a total of 64,288 students confirmed for admission by August 15.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Yogesh Singh, extended his best wishes to the newly arrived university students, assuring them of a welcoming, respectful, and welcoming environment at the finest academic centers. of DU.

CELEBRATE TOTAL ENROLLMENT MONEY

The first round saw Dyal Singh College, Hansraj College, Gargi College, Ramjas College, and Kirori Mal College take the coveted title among the top five universities with the most enrollments.

Swami Shraddhanand, Deshbandhu College, and Zakir Hussain College led in the second round.

Professor Haneet Gandhi, Head of Admissions at DU, attributes this success to the excellent teaching staff and wide range of courses offered at these universities. COURSES ON COURSE

Along with interesting information, GS. Gandhi also shared about the subjects that were most enrolled by students.

The BCom and BA streams, especially BCom (Hons), BCom, BA (Hons) Political Science, BA (Hons) Economics, and BA (Hons) English, attracted the most interest.

DISTRIBUTION OF CHOICES

Explaining more about the students' preferences, Professor Gandhi announced that out of all the applicants, 30,627 chose not to enroll, while 29,217 chose to upgrade.

During this time, about 8,010 and 5,560 candidates achieved the first and second-priority aspirations, respectively.

POWER THROUGH EDUCATION

Professor Yogesh also mentioned the pleasant male-female ratio in the admissions process. Making up more than half of the students enrolled, the percentage of female students is 53%, compared with 47% for male students.
