Top league: Arsenal sign David Raya from Brentford on long-term loan  


Arsenal have announced the acquisition of Spanish goalkeeper David Raya from Premier League side Brentford on a season-long loan. The deal, believed to be worth €3 million ($3.82 million), also includes the option for Arsenal to sign Raya permanently for an additional €27 million.

Raya, 27, has been a key figure at Brentford since joining in 2019, making more than 160 appearances and playing a key role in the club's promotion to the Premier League in 2021. Before moving to Arsenal, Raya extended his contract with Brentford for two more years.
