A woman murdered her husband to continue an illicit affair with her cousin in Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand. The love affair began when the husband was working in Dubai.
The incident happened when the woman's husband decided to return from Dubai to open a local shop to support the family. However, this decision did not satisfy his wife and lover.
They then drugged him with sleeping pills and then crushed him to death with pillows. After receiving information about the incident, the police opened an investigation and sent the body to an autopsy. It was discovered that the woman had been romantically involved with her cousin for eight months. Furthermore, she wanted to take control of her husband's assets.
