The Jana Jagarana Samiti, a non-profit organization deeply concerned with preserving the values of Sanatana Dharma, has made a noteworthy announcement. They have pledged to offer a substantial cash reward of Rs 10 lakh to anyone courageous enough to confront Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) leader and Tamil Nadu minister, Udayanidhi Stalin, for his recent controversial remarks that have raised eyebrows and drawn the ire of many.
The controversial statements that ignited this firestorm were uttered by Udhayanidhi Stalin, who happens to be the son of Chief Minister MK Stalin. These remarks, delivered on a fateful Saturday, unleashed a maelstrom of controversy as Udhayanidhi Stalin asserted that Sanatana Dharma, a cherished and ancient Indian spiritual tradition, is fundamentally incompatible with the principles of social justice. In a startling assertion, he suggested that it should be "eliminated" from society, likening it to afflictions such as dengue and malaria.
Udhayanidhi Stalin's provocative statement, drawing an analogy between Sanatana Dharma and debilitating diseases, inevitably stirred vehement criticism, particularly from leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The BJP decried Udhayanidhi Stalin's remarks as tantamount to a "genocidal call," emphasizing the gravity of his words and the impact they could have on society.
Religious leaders, deeply perturbed by Udayanidhi Stalin's comments, did not shy away from expressing their disapproval. The Vice-President of Isckon-Kolkata, Radharaman Das, came forward to voice his concern and denounce Udhayanidhi's remarks. In response to these comments, Radharaman Das conveyed, “We are in the process of drafting a letter addressed to the Prime Minister, urging swift legal action in this matter. It is worth noting that Udhayanidhi is not only the son of the Chief Minister but also holds a ministerial position, thereby amplifying the significance of addressing this issue.”
In light of these developments, the Jana Jagarana Samiti's offer of a substantial cash reward serves as a testament to the depth of concern within the community about Udhayanidhi Stalin's controversial remarks. This gesture underscores the commitment to safeguarding the principles and values that are integral to Sanatana Dharma, emphasizing the gravity of the situation and the desire for meaningful dialogue and resolution.
