In Rajasthan, a car-bus collision results in 6 fatalities and 2 injuries

Tragedy struck in the early hours of Monday in Bharatpur district, Rajasthan, where a devastating collision between a car and a bus resulted in the loss of six lives, while two individuals sustained injuries, according to authorities.

The ill-fated victims were in the midst of their journey, returning to their residence in Dholpur district from the Khatu Shyamji temple, located in Sikar, when the catastrophic accident unfolded. This grievous incident took place at approximately 1:00 a.m., as detailed by Bane Singh, the Station House Officer (SHO).

Evidence at the scene indicated that two bulls had also met a tragic end, presumably as a result of a road altercation. The preliminary assessment suggests that the collision was triggered by the confrontation between these two bovine creatures.

The sheer force of the impact left the car utterly obliterated, reduced to a tangled mass of metal. The victims, who lost their lives in this horrific incident, were identified as Harendra Singh (32), his spouse Mamta (30), their young daughter Janhvi (6), Mamta's sister Sudha (35), Sudha's husband Santosh (37), and their son Anuj (5).

The accident site happened to be in close proximity to a police station. Shortly following the collision, local law enforcement and concerned residents promptly arrived at the scene. They swiftly rushed the injured victims to a medical facility, but tragically, six of them were pronounced deceased upon arrival.

Among those affected, two minors suffered injuries in the incident, while a toddler miraculously emerged from the ordeal unscathed. Following the necessary postmortem procedures, the bodies will be entrusted to their grieving family members for the final rites and farewells.
