During this time, Shakir was conducting an interview with the Saudi Arabian woman, who has been a resident of Kochi for an extended period. According to the woman's account, Shakir purportedly made an attempt to assault her while her fiancé briefly stepped out of the hotel room.
The Ernakulam Central Police have initiated a case based on the complaint submitted by the 29-year-old Saudi Arabian woman. In response to this complaint, the police have taken proactive steps, including the issuance of a lookout notice against Shakir Subhan.
This lookout notice serves the purpose of notifying authorities at airports and border checkpoints. Its intent is to ensure that, should Shakir endeavor to enter Kerala, he will be apprehended for the purpose of questioning. Additionally, the police have formally summoned Shakir to appear before the investigative team to provide his statement regarding the allegations.
The delay in initiating legal action against the YouTuber was attributed to his absence from the country when the complaint was initially filed. The police had previously requested his full cooperation with the ongoing investigation.
