Pakistan is rocked by another explosion; a mosque explosion claims 3 lives

A tragic incident unfolded in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Friday, resulting in the loss of at least three lives and leaving six others injured due to a suicide blast that occurred inside a mosque. According to the local police, this explosion took place in the Hangu district, and it transpired during the Juma prayers. At the time of the explosion, the mosque was inhabited by a congregation of approximately 30 to 40 worshippers.

The authorities suspect this to be a suicide blast, which had such a devastating impact that it caused the mosque's roof to collapse, as reported by Hangu District Police Officer Nisar Ahmed. This unfortunate incident transpired mere hours after another tragic event, where a suicide blast near the Madina Mosque on Al Falah Road in the Mastung district of Balochistan province resulted in the loss of at least 52 lives and over 50 individuals sustaining injuries.
