The BJP criticizes the Haryana Congress chief's abuse of the prime minister, Manohar Lal Khattar

On Sunday, BJP workers organized a protest at the Aggarwal Dharamshala Chowk, addressing Haryana Congress chief Udai Bhan's controversial comments regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.

During their demonstration, BJP workers chanted slogans against the Congress and Udai Bhan, even burning an effigy of the Haryana Congress chief. They criticized Bhan for making such statements, particularly given his prominent position, and called for him to apologize.

Gargi Kakkar, the BJP district president in Gurugram, expressed the demand for an apology, stating, "Congress state president Udai Bhan should apologize to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, as well as the entire country."

A senior party leader mentioned that similar protests by BJP workers against the Congress are taking place throughout the state.

Previously, a video had emerged in which Bhan was allegedly heard making derogatory remarks about Modi and Khattar, albeit without mentioning them by name.

The BJP's criticism of the Congress coincides with the ongoing controversy surrounding BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri's use of offensive language against BSP MP Danish Ali, a matter that has united opposition parties.

However, the Haryana Congress chief defended himself, stating that he had not said anything inappropriate and suggested that the BJP could pursue legal action if they believed otherwise. He said, "I would have apologized if I had said anything wrong. The BJP should keep its MPs and leaders under control. I have said similar things in 20-30 rallies before. If I have said anything wrong, they can go to the court."
