According to law enforcement authorities, a recent incident has come to light involving an individual named Kumar, who is now facing allegations of being ensnared in a "honey trap" scheme orchestrated by two female "Pakistani agents." These individuals are believed to have skillfully extracted confidential and sensitive information from Kumar, thereby raising concerns about national security.
Over the weekend, officials from the Rajasthan police apprehended a suspect named Narendra Kumar. This arrest followed the discovery of his involvement in the sharing of sensitive data with what were determined to be two agents purportedly linked to Pakistan's intelligence agency, the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
The police's investigation has unveiled the intriguing backstory of Kumar's involvement with these agents. The first agent, who went by the alias "Sunita," presented herself as a local journalist working for an Indian newspaper. The second agent, who identified herself as "Poonam," claimed to be a data operator employed by the Border Security Force (BSF).
Poonam is said to have employed her skills of persuasion, offering the tantalizing prospect of marriage as bait, to extract confidential information from Kumar. According to law enforcement authorities, she managed to obtain sensitive data concerning various aspects, including the conditions of roads and bridges, the locations of Army posts, and even photographs of Army vehicles. Additionally, she established a WhatsApp group, which Kumar populated with individuals residing in bordering areas, further complicating the matter.
Sunita, the second agent, also succeeded in extracting a parallel set of sensitive information from Kumar, who hails from the Bikaner district, according to official sources. This intricate web of espionage activities raises significant concerns about national security and underscores the need for vigilance in safeguarding confidential data and national interests.
