Big B's 'Kalki 2898 AD' poster for 'Dunki' will not be delayed. On Friday, the joyous

Get ready for your weekly dose of Friday goodness! As we bid farewell to yet another eventful week, we're here to focus on the bright side of things in the world of entertainment. Join us for our regular recap of all the positive highlights from the past week.

This week, we've got a bunch of uplifting updates from Tinsel Town that are sure to bring a smile to your face.

Let's start with the exciting reveal of Amitabh Bachchan's first look from 'Kalki 2898 AD,' a much-anticipated film. On October 11, the production house, Vyjayanthi Movies, treated fans with the first-look poster of the legendary Amitabh Bachchan. Notably, this reveal coincided with the actor's birthday, and they made sure to extend their heartfelt birthday wishes to the icon. 'Kalki 2898 AD,' featuring Prabhas and Deepika Padukone alongside Big B, is slated for release in January 2024.

Next, the king of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, has been on a roll this year with two releases, 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan.' Now, get ready for his third film of the year, 'Dunki,' directed by Rajkumar Hirani. Amid rumors of the release date being postponed to avoid a clash with another film, we've received official confirmation that 'Dunki' will indeed stick to its original release date of December 22.

In another exciting development, 'Mission Raniganj,' starring Akshay Kumar as real-life hero Jaswant Singh Gill, the man who rescued 65 miners trapped in a flooded coal mine in West Bengal in 1989, has been submitted to the Academy of Motion Pictures, Arts & Sciences. This marks an independent submission for the Oscars. It's important to note that this classification means 'Mission Raniganj' won't be competing for the Best Foreign Film Award category.

On a celebratory note, Vijay Varma, renowned for his portrayal of a psycho serial killer in 'Dahaad,' earned the prestigious Best Actor - India award at the Asian Academy Creative Awards. This well-deserved recognition and achievement were celebrated by Excel Movies, showering him with hearty congratulations for this remarkable feat.

As we conclude this week's edition of Feel-Good Friday, we hope these uplifting updates bring joy and optimism to your day. Here's to the positivity and creativity that continue to thrive in the world of entertainment!
