Congress MLA named in a suicide note left by a Gujarati man discovered hanging at his home

In the village of Chorwad in Gujarat's Junagadh district, a distressing incident unfolded as the lifeless body of a 28-year-old man was discovered hanging in his residence. Law enforcement authorities suspect that this tragic event is a case of suicide, as reported on Sunday.

A purported suicide note recovered from the possession of the deceased, offered a glimpse into the motivations behind this tragic decision. According to the note, the individual was compelled to take this extreme step owing to the actions of his in-laws and a member of the Congress party, a Congress MLA.

As per the account provided by Police Inspector KM Gadhvi, the lifeless body identified as Nitin Parmar was found suspended from the ceiling of his home during the intervening night between Saturday and Sunday.

Gadhvi conveyed, "At first glance, it appears to be a suicide case. However, we are awaiting the postmortem report to precisely determine the cause of death. The suicide note has been handed over for forensic examination."

The investigation also unearthed a purported suicide note within Parmar's belongings. This note, significantly, mentioned three specific names, which included his father-in-law, mother-in-law, and the Congress MLA, Vimal Chudasama.

In light of these developments, it is important to note that Vimal Chudasama, the aforementioned Congress MLA, acknowledged that the deceased, Nitin Parmar, was related to him. Chudasama raised the unsettling possibility that the situation might not be as straightforward as it seems, suggesting that this could potentially be a case of murder disguised as suicide, with an underlying conspiracy aimed at tarnishing his reputation.

Chudasama elaborated on his perspective, saying, "The individual who implicated my name in the suicide note has had no interactions with me over the past two years. He happens to be the son of my aunt. Upon observing the physical injuries on his body, his family holds the belief that he may have met with foul play. In my view, this purported suicide note represents a coordinated effort to implicate me in a sinister plot. Moreover, I must emphasize that the handwriting in the letter does not correspond to his own. It is my belief that this is a conspiracy by a political adversary aimed at defaming me." This statement from the Congress MLA underscores the complexity and uncertainty surrounding this unfortunate incident.
