Investigation of killing of man in Churu, Rajasthan, using sticks and iron rods


On a Saturday night in Rajasthan's Churu district, a tragic event unfolded as a 24-year-old man lost his life in a violent altercation during a birthday celebration. The incident transpired at a farm in the Ratangarh area of Churu, where a birthday party was being held. Dilsukh Godara, the victim, found himself at the receiving end of a brutal assault by six individuals wielding sticks and iron rods.

As a result of the attack, Godara sustained severe injuries, prompting his immediate transfer to a nearby hospital. Tragically, medical professionals declared him deceased following a thorough medical examination.

Subsequent to this distressing incident, the police initiated proceedings by registering a case under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Simultaneously, an investigation was launched with the primary objective of locating and apprehending the individuals responsible for this tragic event.

Recognizing the need for thoroughness in the investigation, a team of forensic experts was summoned to the location to collect and preserve scientific evidence pertaining to the case.

A police official from the Churu Police provided insight into the ongoing efforts, revealing that raids have been executed at various locations in pursuit of the accused. However, as of now, the perpetrators remain at large.

It is important to note that the accused individuals possessed a history of criminal activities, with previous cases registered against them at a local police station, as confirmed by the police official.
