27 inquiries by opposition MPs on suspension were removed from the Lok Sabha's query list

A total of 27 queries presented by suspended opposition members of the Lok Sabha faced removal from the scheduled list of questions slated for discussion on Tuesday. The exclusion extended to the names of various suspended Members of Parliament (MPs) who were originally part of groups posing similar questions to different ministers.

Among those whose names were expunged was Hanuman Beniwal, who resigned from the Lok Sabha upon securing a seat in the Rajasthan assembly. This pruning of names occurred alongside the removal of both two-starred questions, posed by Aparupa Poddar of the Trinamool Congress and Ramya Haridas of the Congress, and 25 unstarred questions from the agenda. It's essential to note that ministers provide oral responses to starred questions and written responses to unstarred questions.

The suspension of a total of 46 opposition members in the Lok Sabha stems from their active involvement in displaying placards and raising slogans. Their collective demand revolves around seeking a response from the home minister concerning the security breach at the Parliament on December 13. This incident prompted the stringent measures taken against these members, impacting their participation in parliamentary proceedings.
