'Easy ways to die' video watched by the family of a Rajasthani child who committed themselves


On Thursday, a tragic incident occurred in Rajasthan where a nine-year-old boy, who was in the sixth grade, took his own life. His family members discovered his lifeless body at home, and according to his uncle, the boy had been watching videos on YouTube that purportedly depicted "easy ways to die" before the unfortunate incident unfolded.

Upon the discovery of the boy's demise, the police took custody of his phone and initiated the necessary procedures, including sending the minor's body for post-mortem examination.

The incident transpired on Thursday morning when the family members found the boy alone at home, with his siblings engaged in outdoor activities and other family members visiting neighbors. The boy had recently celebrated his birthday on December 11.

Expressing concern over the distressing situation, a police official assured a comprehensive investigation into the circumstances surrounding the boy's tragic death, aiming to shed light on the factors leading to this unfortunate incident.
