In Rajasthan, a room heater triggered a fire that killed a couple and their infant daughter

In a tragic incident in Alwar, Rajasthan, a family of three met with a devastating fate as a fire, triggered by a heater in their room, claimed the lives of the father and daughter in the blaze, while the mother succumbed to her severe burn injuries two days later on Sunday.

The unfortunate incident unfolded around 1:30 am when a fire ignited due to the excessive heat emitted by the heater, causing the family members' clothes to catch fire. The flames swiftly spread to the quilt, and the cotton stuffing quickly ignited, resulting in the room being engulfed in a destructive blaze.

Despite the immediate response of neighbors, who rushed to their aid upon hearing distress calls, the father, Deepak Yadav, and his infant daughter tragically lost their lives on the spot. Yadav's wife, Sanju, who was present in the room during the incident, sustained grievous burn injuries and was promptly rushed to a hospital in Alwar for emergency medical intervention.

Despite a valiant two-day struggle for survival, during which Sanju battled severe burns covering over 80 percent of her body, she ultimately succumbed to her injuries. The medical team's unwavering efforts were unfortunately unable to overcome the severity of her condition.

In response to the heartbreaking event, the police have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
