Nikki Haley is only 4 points behind Trump in a recent poll, which Trump refers to as a scam

Former US president Donald Trump criticized a poll conducted by the American Research Group, dismissing it as a "scam" after it revealed that Nikki Haley trailed him by just four points.

According to the poll conducted on December 21, 33 percent of New Hampshire GOP voters expressed support for Trump, while 29 percent favored the former South Carolina governor, Nikki Haley.

Trump took to his Truth Social website to denounce the poll, stating, "Fake New Hampshire poll was released on Birdbrain. Just another scam!" In the same post, he commented on New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu's endorsement of Haley, adding, "Sununu now one of the least popular governors in the US Real poll to follow."

While national polls have consistently shown Trump leading other Republicans, recent developments indicate growing support for Haley from various donors, including LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman.

Haley's poll numbers have experienced a consistent rise, attributed to her commendable debate performances. Notably, the recent polls have widened the gap between Haley and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who were closely matched for months. In the recent polls, DeSantis secured 6 percent support.
