Rajouri-Poonch now has mobile internet again following a week-long outage

After a span of a week-long suspension, mobile internet services have finally resumed in the districts of Poonch and Rajouri in Jammu and Kashmir. This restoration follows the initial suspension that ensued after a terror attack targeted two army vehicles, prompting precautionary measures to quell potential rumour-spreading and prevent any potential law and order disruptions.

The restrictions, which were imposed as a proactive measure last Friday, aimed to curb the spread of unverified information and maintain stability in the region. Providing an update on the situation, Ramesh Kumar, the Divisional Commissioner of the Jammu region, informed the news agency PTI that mobile services have been reinstated in the Rajouri-Poonch area. He emphasized that the situation has returned to normalcy.

In a disturbing turn of events, three individuals, previously detained for questioning by the Army in connection to the terrorist ambush that tragically claimed the lives of four personnel, were discovered dead under mysterious circumstances the subsequent day. While investigations into their deaths persist, the bodies have been handed over to their respective families for their final rites.

This unsettling development has raised questions and concerns, casting a shadow of suspicion and prompting a thorough inquiry to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the untimely demise of these individuals. As the investigation continues, authorities are diligently probing these mysterious deaths, aiming to shed light on the events that led to this unfortunate outcome.
