The "Khatron Ke Khiladi," or intruders from Parliament, were unemployed: Aditya Thackeray

About the incident where intruders breached the Lok Sabha on December 13, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader and Maharashtra MLA Aaditya Thackeray referred to them as 'Khatron Ke Khiladi,' a term roughly translating to 'players of danger.' According to Thackeray, these individuals undertook such a perilous step due to their unemployment status.

Thackeray elaborated on his characterization of the intruders, stating, “Two youths risked their lives and entered the parliament. I will call them Khatron Ke Khiladi. It is not easy to go inside and jump in the well. They risked their lives. I don't support them, and that is wrong. They raised issues of unemployment, the Manipur incident, and others.”

Addressing the Parliament security breach, Thackeray expressed sadness over the incident, attributing the intruders' actions to their unemployment. He questioned the issuance of passes to these individuals, specifically targeting BJP MP Pratap Simha. Thackeray emphasized the need for answers from the government, raising concerns about the suspension of numerous MPs for asking questions.

Thackeray went on to allege that the country is moving towards a state of dictatorship, citing a controversial bill related to the appointment of Election Commissioners. The incident on December 13 involved two men jumping into the Lok Sabha chamber from the visitors' gallery, shouting slogans, and releasing yellow gas from a canister. Simultaneously, two others protested just outside the Parliament. Eight individuals, including the mastermind behind the attack, have been arrested thus far.
