BJP chief from Tamil Nadu said the INDIA bloc resolved to expose the Congress collectively

K Annamalai, the President of BJP Tamil Nadu, stated that the parties forming the INDIA bloc have collectively decided to expose the Congress party.

Annamalai shared a video of DMK minister Raja Kannappan on X (previously known as Twitter), wherein Kannappan mentioned that the Congress party seems to operate solely to secure seats during elections.

In his post, Annamalai remarked, "It appears that the parties within the I.N.D.I. Alliance has unanimously resolved to unveil the workings of the Congress party."

He elaborated by noting that the Congress possesses "more leaders than cadres" in Tamil Nadu and has maintained a passive stance, focusing primarily on securing a few seats.

During an event in Puducherry, Kannappan expressed views on the Congress party, acknowledging its stature as a longstanding political entity while remarking on its diminished influence.

Kannappan remarked, "Regarding the Congress, they seem to run the party solely to obtain seats. But what good does that serve? Their operations lack dedication to working hard or serving the people. Instead, they only show up during elections. This approach does not resonate with the people."

He also asserted, "That's why the BJP is attempting to exert excessive influence. However, the BJP cannot intimidate us. We do not succumb to fear. We will resist them and ensure their retreat. We will handle the BJP."

Earlier this week, the TMC and AAP announced their decision to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections independently in West Bengal and Punjab, respectively, dealing a setback to the INDIA bloc.

Additionally, there is speculation surrounding Nitish Kumar's potential departure from the Mahagathbandhan government, a coalition that includes the RJD led by Lalu Yadav, with the possibility of him rejoining the BJP-led NDA.
