"To spread the word about...": Bengali dosa vendor provides complimentary lunches during the opening of the Ram temple

In celebration of the inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a street-food vendor in Siliguri, West Bengal, is generously providing free meals to customers on Monday.

Rahul, the proprietor of a dosa stall in Siliguri, expressed that this day provides an "opportunity to bring people together and share a message of communal harmony." With a joyful demeanor, he encouraged customers to "eat as much as you want" since Lord Ram is now present and will take care of everyone's concerns.

In addition to extending this special offer, Rahul urged his patrons to help spread information about the celebratory initiative related to the grand opening of the Ram temple. He emphasized that this gesture is his contribution to the happiness prevailing after decades of hardship leading to the construction of the temple.

Responding to concerns about the potential impact on his business due to the distribution of free meals, Rahul explained with a smile that people have made significant sacrifices to witness Lord Ram being enshrined in his birthplace. He sees this small act as his contribution to the prevailing joy in the air.

Local residents and customers lauded Rahul's initiative, considering it a beautiful example of how small acts of kindness can bring people closer. A customer praised Rahul's gesture, describing it as a noble cause and expressing admiration for his generosity in feeding people without charge.

Meanwhile, Ayodhya experienced a surge in religious fervor as Prime Minister Narendra Modi concluded the 'pran pratishtha' or consecration of the idol of Ram Lalla. The event witnessed the presence of people from diverse backgrounds, including representatives of major spiritual and religious sects, tribal communities, and actors.
