Twelve additional police officers beat up a student and urinate in his mouth

In an apparent act of revenge, a head constable, along with approximately twelve other individuals, reportedly assaulted a student, discharged a gunshot to intimidate him, and subjected him to humiliating actions, such as urinating into his mouth, according to police reports on Tuesday.

The victim, identified as Ayush Dwivedi, a 23-year-old MCA student, was allegedly abducted by the group from the Civil Lines area of Kanpur, where he had gone to meet someone. They transported him approximately five kilometers away to Cooperganj, where the assault took place, as per law enforcement authorities.

This incident is said to be linked to a case filed against Ayush Dwivedi in October of the previous year, where he was accused of attempted murder under Section 307. The complainant in this case was reportedly the head constable involved in the recent incident.

Upon kidnapping the MCA student and taking him to the railway tracks near Cooperganj, the perpetrators reportedly subjected him to further degradation, compelling him to ingest their urine and lick their spit from their slippers, according to police sources.

The discharged bullet, aimed at Ayush Dwivedi, narrowly missed his earlobe, highlighting the severity of the incident. Law enforcement authorities responded promptly, resulting in the arrest of three individuals, including the head constable identified as Dharmendra Yadav, who is assigned to the Local Intelligence Unit, as confirmed by Joint Commissioner of Police, Crime, Nilabja Choudhury.
