UP colleges and schools were closed on January 22 in observance of Ram Temple inauguration

In light of the upcoming Ram Temple inauguration, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took a significant step on Tuesday by announcing the suspension of classes in all schools and colleges across the state on January 22. This decision reflects the recognition of the monumental nature of the inauguration ceremony and the desire to allow students and educators to partake in the historic event without any academic commitments.

Moreover, Chief Minister Adityanath went beyond just declaring a holiday for educational institutions; he also took a stance against the sale of liquor throughout the state on the day of the ceremony. This prohibition is an additional measure aimed at fostering an environment of sobriety and respect during the auspicious occasion.

In a comprehensive approach to the preparations for the ceremony, Adityanath emphasized the need for grandeur. He urged the decoration of all government buildings on January 22 and encouraged the organization of fireworks to enhance the celebratory atmosphere surrounding the event.

While personally overseeing the preparations in Ayodhya, Chief Minister Adityanath directed the implementation of the 'Kumbh Model' of cleanliness in the city. He announced the commencement of a dedicated cleanliness campaign in Ayodhya starting January 14, underscoring the importance of presenting a pristine and hygienic city as a fitting backdrop to the consecration ceremony.

Adityanath, demonstrating meticulous planning, instructed officials to determine resting places for VVIPs well in advance. This directive aims to ensure a seamless and organized flow of the ceremony, adding a layer of efficiency to the proceedings.

As Ayodhya gears up for the "Pran Pratishtha" at the temple on January 22, the guest list curated by the temple trust, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, includes over 7,000 individuals, ranging from politicians and Bollywood celebrities to cricketers and industrialists. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is expected to grace the mega event with their presence, making it a momentous and widely attended occasion.
