Prompt action from the event organizers facilitated the poet's swift transportation to the district hospital, albeit medical professionals there regrettably pronounced him deceased. Subsequently, his bereaved family undertook the solemn task of transporting his remains to his ancestral home in Mathura.
The poignant episode unfolded within the premises of the 'Pantnagar Kavya Mahotsav,' an event convened at the esteemed G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology with the noble intention of commemorating the sacrifices of Indian soldiers.
The deceased poet, identified as Subhash Chaturvedi, had retired from his post as Assistant Accountant at Pantnagar University in 2014 and had since been residing in Jawahar Nagar.
