"Crakk" opens with a box office receipt of Rs 4 crore, directed by Vidyut Jammwal

The much-anticipated release of Vidyut Jammwal's action-packed venture 'Crakk: Jeetega Toh Jeeyega' was preceded by extensive promotional campaigns, generating high expectations among audiences. However, upon its theatrical debut on February 23, the film's opening day performance fell short of projections, especially considering its substantial production budget.

On its inaugural day, 'Crakk' garnered a modest sum of Rs 4 crore at the box office. Despite lackluster occupancy during morning and afternoon screenings, there was a notable uptick in attendance during the evening shows. Nevertheless, it appears that the Yami Gautam and Priya Mani-led film 'Article 370' holds an advantage in box office receipts for the opening day, having amassed Rs 5.75 crore. Interestingly, 'Article 370' was produced with a lower budget compared to 'Crakk'.

The forthcoming figures for Saturday and Sunday screenings will undoubtedly determine the trajectory of the film's success. It is worth mentioning that 'Crakk' has outperformed Vidyut's previous release, 'IB71', which recorded a meager Day 1 collection of Rs 1.5 crore.

In addition to Vidyut Jammwal's stellar performance, 'Crakk' boasts a star-studded cast including Nora Fatehi, Arjun Rampal, and Amy Jackson, adding to the film's allure and anticipation among moviegoers.
