According to a report by news agency ANI on Saturday, numerous passengers, among them infants and a 78-year-old individual, encountered respiratory issues while aboard an Air Mauritius flight traveling from Mumbai to Mauritius, attributed to a malfunction in the aircraft's air conditioning system.
As per the report, passengers endured a distressing ordeal lasting five hours while confined within the aircraft, which experienced an engine malfunction shortly after the commencement of boarding procedures.
Commencing boarding at 3:45 am with a scheduled departure time of 4:30 am, passengers found themselves confined to the aircraft for an extended duration without the option to disembark, as detailed in the ANI report.
Despite efforts to rectify the issue, the airline ultimately made the decision to cancel the flight due to persistent technical complications.
