PM Modi will unveil initiatives and speak to the Madhya Pradesh tribal people


Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to commence the groundbreaking ceremonies of developmental initiatives valued at Rs 7,500 crore in Madhya Pradesh's Jhabua district on Sunday. Concurrently, he will engage with tribal communities in the region during his visit.

As confirmed by state BJP media cell chief Ashish Agrawal, the congregation at Gopalpura will witness participation from tribal communities across the nation.

This visit marks the Prime Minister's inaugural trip to the state this year, ahead of the looming Lok Sabha elections, particularly significant due to Madhya Pradesh's possession of six reserved Lok Sabha seats designated for tribals.

During his itinerary, PM Modi will disburse monthly stipends to nearly two lakh female beneficiaries under the Aahar Anudan Yojana, ensuring access to nutritious food, especially targeted at backward tribes. Additionally, he will oversee the distribution of 1.75 lakh 'adhikar abhilekh' (land rights documents) under the SVAMITVA scheme, which aims to provide legal documentation for land ownership.

The foundation stone for the Tantya Mama Bhil University allocated a budget of Rs 170 crore, will be laid by the Prime Minister. This institution is designed to cater to the educational needs of youth hailing from tribal-dominated districts, boasting modern infrastructure for holistic student development.

Furthermore, PM Modi will allocate funds worth Rs 55.9 crore to 559 villages under the Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana, supporting various construction projects such as Anganwadi Bhawans, health centers, and internal roads.

Additionally, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for multiple projects aimed at enhancing water supply and provision in Madhya Pradesh, including the Talavada Project and 14 urban water supply schemes under the AMRUT 2.0 initiative.

Moreover, PM Modi will dedicate 'Nal Jal Yojana' to 50 gram panchayats in Jhabua, benefitting approximately 11,000 households by providing tap water.

Railway development projects will also be highlighted during the Prime Minister's visit, including the redevelopment of Ratlam and Meghnagar railway stations under the Amrit Bharat station scheme, alongside other initiatives like the doubling of railway lines and grade separator projects.

Furthermore, numerous road development projects costing over Rs 3,275 crore will be inaugurated, aimed at improving road connectivity and bolstering economic development in the region.

Finally, the Prime Minister will oversee the dedication and commencement of various other developmental endeavors such as waste dumpsite remediation and electric substation installations, underscoring the government's commitment to comprehensive progress in the region.
