Arvind Kejriwal meets with family every day despite having low blood sugar: References

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who has been under Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody since his arrest on March 21 in connection with a money laundering case related to the liquor policy, is reportedly experiencing a decline in his blood sugar levels due to his diabetes. He remains under constant monitoring through CCTV surveillance, and meetings with his family and lawyer are facilitated daily.

Kejriwal's arrest resulted in a six-day ED custody, during which government files were restricted within the ED headquarters. Despite his continuous monitoring, no signatures have been obtained from him while in custody. Additionally, the ED is conducting an internal inquiry to prevent potential leaks or forgery related to the investigation.

During his custody, Kejriwal issued a government order concerning Delhi's health department, emphasizing his concern for the healthcare of the state's residents. He instructed that medicines and tests be provided free of cost at Mohalla clinics to alleviate people's suffering.

Despite the ongoing developments, supporters of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) attempted to stage a protest near the Prime Minister's residence against Kejriwal's arrest, resulting in several detentions by the Delhi Police under Section 144 due to the lack of permission for the demonstration.
