Chengicherla: Is it in Pakistan? BJP attacks Congress on the house arrest of a Telangana MLA

A BJP MLA from Telangana, T Raja Singh, alleged that he was subjected to house arrest while en route to Chengicherla in the state. His intended visit was to meet individuals who had reportedly been attacked by a group during Holi celebrations. Criticizing this move, BJP MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar sarcastically questioned, "Is Chengicherla in Pakistan?"

Bandi Sanjay Kumar further disclosed that he and other BJP workers faced legal action for attempting to visit Chengicherla and meet with "Hindu victims." Expressing his disapproval of T Raja Singh's house arrest, Bandi Sanjay Kumar conveyed his sentiments on social media, indicating that anyone who attempted to impede Singh's actions would ultimately face consequences. He emphasized that such obstacles were futile, suggesting that Singh's visit would occur eventually, regardless of any hindrance.

In addition to condemning T Raja Singh's confinement, Bandi Sanjay Kumar criticized the Congress-led Telangana government for allegedly targeting Hindus and filing cases against them. He accused the government of obstructing leaders from providing assistance to victims and failing to address issues related to the Rohingya mafia. Bandi Sanjay Kumar urged the Congress administration to withdraw all cases filed against BJP leaders in Telangana.

The incident in question involved an attack on several Hindu women in Chengicherla village, located in the Medchal constituency of Telangana, during midnight Holi celebrations. Union Minister G Kishan Reddy corroborated reports, stating that individuals from other states clashed with the women, resulting in physical assaults and injuries, including severe head injuries sustained by pregnant women.
