Jailed gangster-politician Mukhtar Ansari passed away on Thursday night due to a heart attack. His health had deteriorated earlier in the evening, prompting authorities to rush him to Rani Durgavati Medical College in Banda for treatment. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his condition at the hospital.
Medical personnel initially attended to Ansari inside the jail premises, but he was swiftly transferred to the hospital when his symptoms suggested a heart attack. Sources reported that Ansari's health worsened after breaking his fast in the evening, leading to vomiting and eventual unconsciousness.
Despite efforts by a panel of nine doctors, Ansari could not be revived and was declared dead after suffering a cardiac arrest at 8:25 pm.
The Samajwadi Party expressed its condolences upon hearing the news of Mukhtar Ansari's demise, offering prayers for his soul and strength to his grieving family members.
