14 Palestinians are slain in an Israeli operation in the West Bank, while the attack in Gaza is ongoing

Israeli forces conducted a raid in the occupied West Bank on Saturday, resulting in the deaths of 14 Palestinians, as reported by Palestinian authorities. Additionally, amidst the ongoing violence, an ambulance driver lost his life while attempting to assist those injured in a separate attack by Jewish settlers. The raid, initiated on Friday in the Nur Shams area near Tulkarm, continued into Saturday with sustained clashes.

The Tulkarm Brigades, representing various Palestinian factions, confirmed engaging in gunfire exchanges with Israeli forces during the raid. This incident underscores the persistent violence in the West Bank, where numerous individuals have been arrested, and hundreds have lost their lives in recent Israeli military operations. Meanwhile, in Gaza, airstrikes persisted, contributing to a reported death toll of over 34,000.

In Rafah, airstrikes caused casualties, including a tragic incident where a family perished, leaving a baby as the sole survivor. Israeli forces also engaged in close-quarter combat in central Gaza. Overall, the airstrikes in Gaza resulted in the deaths of 37 Palestinians and injured 68 others within the past 24 hours. The situation in Rafah remains volatile, with ongoing conflict, while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu faces international opposition to military action in the area.
