She stated that while it was a victory of truth, true celebration would only happen when all AAP leaders, including Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, and Satyendar Jain, were released from custody.
Anita Singh emphasized that until all three of her "brothers" are out of custody, the happiness over Sanjay Singh's bail remains incomplete. She expressed unwavering faith in the judicial process and asserted that true celebration would occur only when all implicated leaders are cleared in the case.
Addressing concerns about the impact of the case on AAP's politics, Anita Singh dismissed any notion of turmoil, stating that there is no danger to the party's politics. She expressed confidence that all the implicated leaders would eventually be released from jail, starting with Sanjay Singh's bail being the first step.
Following Sanjay Singh's release, celebrations ensued at his residence, with family members and supporters distributing sweets to mark the occasion.
Sanjay Singh was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in October 2023 in connection with an alleged money laundering case linked to the now-defunct Delhi liquor policy.
