Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee encountered an injury on Saturday when she slipped and fell inside a helicopter in Durgapur.
The incident occurred as she ascended the movable stairs leading to the chopper and was preparing to take her seat. The helicopter was awaiting her boarding to depart.
Despite suffering a minor injury, Mamata Banerjee received prompt assistance from her security personnel. She proceeded with her planned trip to Asansol after the incident.
This isn't the first time Mamata Banerjee has faced injuries. In May, she was hospitalized after a fall near her residence in Kolkata, resulting in a deep cut on her forehead. Furthermore, in June 2023, she sustained leg injuries during an emergency landing of her helicopter due to adverse weather conditions near Siliguri.
