Inside the magnificent temple, Ayodhya prepares for Ram Lalla's inaugural Ram Navami

The preparations for Ram Navami inside the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya are in full swing, with the district administration and Uttar Pradesh government working diligently to ensure a grand celebration. To accommodate the expected influx of devotees, the temple will remain open for darshan for an extended period of 20 hours on April 16, 17, and 18. Additionally, special rituals such as Surya Tilak will be performed for Ram Lalla.

Given the anticipated large crowds, arrangements have been made to organize darshan in seven rows within the temple premises. It is estimated that around 40 lakh devotees will visit Ayodhya for the occasion. Officials have been directed to conduct thorough inspections of their designated zones and sectors to assess ground conditions and ensure proper security measures.

Security arrangements are being closely monitored by the district magistrate and other officials, particularly in areas like Naya Ghat Zone, Nageshwarnath Zone, and Hanumangarhi Temple Zone. A dedicated control room has been established to oversee preparations and coordinate efforts among different departments, with staff working in three shifts round the clock.

In addition to the police department, health, municipal, and electricity departments are on high alert to swiftly execute assigned tasks. A preparatory meeting chaired by the Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary was held to review arrangements for Ram Navami, which marks the culmination of the Navami fair in Ayodhya, running from April 9 to April 17.
