Kahan gir raha hai, bhai: After using unconventional batting, Rishabh Pant makes fun of himself

Rishabh Pant didn't hesitate to poke fun at himself for his unorthodox shot during the match against LSG at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on April 12. After guiding Delhi Capitals (DC) to a convincing 6-wicket win, Pant shared a photo on his Instagram story, showcasing his unique shot-making style. In the caption, he humorously remarked, "Where am I falling while playing the shot, attempting to create which angle."

Pant's entertaining knock of 41 runs from just 24 balls played a pivotal role in DC's triumph, propelling them to their second victory of the season and lifting them to the 9th position on the points table.

The DC captain exhibited his trademark aggressive batting style, delighting both experts and fans with his audacious stroke play. Whether dancing down the pitch to spinners or executing reverse ramp and pull shots against pacers, Pant was relentless in his attack. He found a valuable partner in debutant Fraser-McGurk, who contributed with a maiden IPL fifty in his very first match.

Together, Pant and Fraser-McGurk forged a crucial 77-run partnership from just 46 balls, firmly establishing DC's dominance in the game. Although Pant's innings were cut short by Ravi Bishnoi, who managed to stump him as he lost his balance, the DC skipper was relieved by his team's victory.

Speaking in the post-match presentation ceremony, Pant emphasized the importance of maintaining a champion mindset and highlighted the team's collective effort in securing the win. He acknowledged the need for individual responsibility in certain aspects of the game while emphasizing unity within the team.

With this victory, DC secured their first-ever win against LSG after suffering defeats in the previous three encounters, marking a significant milestone for the franchise.
