Knife attack on party boat in New York City leaves three people wounded



The atmosphere turned chaotic on Saturday evening as a knife attack unfolded aboard a crowded party boat at a New York City pier, leaving three individuals wounded and prompting swift emergency response.

Authorities received a 911 call around 5 pm, alerting them to the assault transpiring along the East River near 58th Street and the Brooklyn Army Terminal warehouse, detailed Detective Sophia Mason.

The victims, identified as a 32-year-old man with a stab wound to the torso, a 40-year-old man with stab wounds to the chest and abdomen, and a 28-year-old man struck in the head with a bottle, were promptly transported to NYU Langone Hospital. Fortunately, their conditions were reported as stable, providing some relief amidst the distressing situation.

As investigations ensued, with no arrests made by Saturday evening, law enforcement authorities remained vigilant, ensuring the safety of the community and actively pursuing leads to apprehend those responsible for the violent incident.

Amidst the chaos, it was revealed that approximately 3,000 individuals were aboard the vessel, known as the Cornucopia Majesty, at the time of the attack, amplifying concerns over the safety and security of the partygoers.
