Police will investigate after a Mysuru man claimed they were beaten for producing a song about Prime Minister Modi



A man from Mellahalli village in Mandya district, Karnataka, named Rohit Kumar, has alleged that he was assaulted by a group of individuals after sharing a song he composed praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, the police have not yet confirmed the veracity of his claims.

According to Rohit Kumar's statement to the police, he shared the composition with an acquaintance and asked him to watch the song and subscribe to his YouTube channel. Subsequently, he was taken to a room where he was allegedly assaulted by the group. Rohit claimed that he was verbally abused, restrained, and subjected to physical assault, including being urinated on, and was forced to chant slogans in favor of Pakistan.

Following the incident, Rohit was provided with medical attention by the police. However, the Mysuru police stated that they are currently investigating Rohit's allegations and are examining CCTV footage from the guest house to gather more information about the incident. They assured that further details would be provided once the investigation progressed.
