Russia is warned that US aid to Ukraine will cause more damage, deaths

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov expressed strong opposition to the US House of Representatives' approval of security aid to Ukraine, warning of dire consequences for the conflict in the region. Peskov stated that the decision would not only enrich the United States but also exacerbate the situation in Ukraine, ultimately leading to more damage and casualties, which he attributed to the Kyiv regime. He criticized provisions in the legislation that allow for the confiscation of Russian assets to fund reconstruction efforts in Ukraine, asserting that such actions would tarnish the image of the United States and prompt retaliatory measures from Russia.

Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev echoed Peskov's sentiments, characterizing the approval of US aid for Ukraine as a manifestation of "Russophobia." He downplayed the significance of the aid package, emphasizing Russia's resilience in the face of what he described as aggressive actions driven by the US military-industrial complex.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova condemned the approval of aid to Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan, asserting that it would exacerbate crises worldwide. She labeled military assistance to the Kyiv regime as tantamount to sponsoring terrorism and criticized US involvement in Taiwan and Israel, warning of potential escalation and tension in the respective regions.
