Slogans supporting Khalistan adorn the walls of the high-security Bathinda micro secretariat

Pro-Khalistan slogans recently appeared on the walls of Bathinda's mini secretariat complex, a high-security area located just 50 yards away from the residence of the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP). This incident has prompted a police investigation, with authorities examining nearby CCTV footage to identify the perpetrators. No group has claimed responsibility for the act thus far.

This is not an isolated incident, as similar pro-Khalistan graffiti has been reported in various states including Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, and Delhi over the past year. Last year, pro-Khalistan slogans were discovered on the walls of five metro stations in Delhi, including Punjabi Bagh, Shivaji Park, Madipur, Paschim Vihar, Udyog Nagar, Maharaja Surajmal Stadium, and Nangloi metro stations.

Following these incidents, two members of the 'Sikhs for Justice' (SFJ) organization from Punjab were arrested by the Delhi Police. It was alleged that these slogans were written under the direction of Sikh activist and Khalistani sympathizer Gurpatwant Singh Pannu.

Authorities are taking these incidents seriously and are working to ensure the security and integrity of public spaces, especially in sensitive areas like government buildings and transportation hubs.
