The 'bags of cash' accusation made by Tejashwi Yadav against JP Nadda, the head of the BJP

Tejashwi Yadav, a leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), has made serious allegations against BJP President JP Nadda, claiming that Nadda brought five bags of cash to distribute among voters during his recent visit to Bihar ahead of the second phase of Lok Sabha elections.

Speaking to reporters in Patna, Tejashwi Yadav stated, "I have received news that he [JP Nadda] has brought several bags with him. He is distributing them at places where elections are taking place. Get this checked, the allegations are true. I am not lying. Agencies are helping him openly. He is coming from Delhi and bringing five bags with him."

Tejashwi Yadav also criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi's remarks about mangalsutras, highlighting the rising prices of gold. He questioned the relevance of discussing mangalsutras in elections when many women cannot afford them due to high gold prices.

Expressing confidence in the victory of RJD and its allies in Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav reiterated that it is a choice between NDA and INDIA, hinting at former Purnea MP Rajesh Ranjan's entry as an Independent candidate after being denied a ticket by the Congress.

In response, JP Nadda accused the Congress and its allies of supporting those who aim to weaken India, labeling the Congress-led INDIA bloc as an "arrogant" alliance and urging the public not to support them.

The BJP and Congress are engaged in a contentious debate over allegations that the Congress intends to seize people's wealth and distribute it among Muslims. Prime Minister Narendra Modi further fueled the controversy by accusing Congress of planning to reduce quotas for SCs, STs, and OBCs to implement religion-based reservations.
